We have used Bowerbird for two significant renovations in the last 2 years - the first an attic Reno, and most recently a bathroom rondo. Our home is an old Victorian in downtown toronto, so the bathroom was very small, the electrical and plumbing very suspect. Bowerbird provided a quality estimate and stayed within budget and timelines. The only additional costs came as we added to the project. But considering how bad the floor was in and the electrical when they demolished the bathroom, the estimate went up very modestly as we move all the plumbing to reconfigure the bathroom, Al's moving the wall back 18" to make the bathroom larger.

Overall, extremely happy with the quality of the work. We'll most definitely be contacting Bowerbird for any future projects.

We were very pleased by the renovation job that Bowerbird did for our basement. Andrei, Victor, and Vlad were highly professional, they worked hard, and they were a pleasure (and fun) to have around.

They aren't the cheapest – if you want Walmart quality, go elsewhere – but we felt we got excellent value. Their quality and workmanship is superb, and they came in exactly on budget and on time. For the few changes that we wanted, they charged very reasonably. And as unforeseen circumstances arose – they always do in old homes like ours – they had innovative, proactive solutions.

My husband and I have hired Bowerbird Renovations for two consecutive years to complete two major renovations in our Toronto home. The first was a full renovation of our bathroom and the construction of a third bedroom for a nursery. The second was a full renovation of our kitchen and main floor area including bringing down a major wall. Bowerbird Renovations rocked my bathroom renovation! From the initial meeting, to mapping out the project, to providing advice based on their experience, they offered me great solutions for my space all within the budget I provided. Andrei and Viktor had great recommendations on what would work and best of all, treated my ideas and opinions respectfully and honestly. They are diligent and focused on the quality of the overall project. They kept me up to date and filled me in on the status of the work and communicated everything I needed to know in a timely fashion. I am loving my new space and would not hesitate for a second to recommend this fabulous team.

We own an older Victorian home in Leslieville and hired Victor and Andrei to renovate our dust and cobweb filled attic into an office loft, above our master bedroom. Bowerbird was the only contractor to physically go up into the attic (they spent 20 minutes up there) and really look at the space, and consider all the possibilities, prior to discussing the quote. All the other contractors that we interviewed barely poked their head up into the space, not even leaving the ladder or measuring the space. Both prior to the start of the renovation, as well as during the work, they made thoughtful suggestions on ways we could maximize the space or help keep within our desired budget. Victor, Andrei and their team are the hardest working crew I've met. They showed up on time every day and put in more than a full day from the first day until the very last. The entire reno was completed on time and within our budget. The quality of the work is superb and their attention to detail is phenomenal. They were also very respectful of the fact that renovations can be a big disruption to a home and our young boys really got to know and like them. In addition to the attic and brand new stairway, they also installed a fully built-in wardrobe into the master bedroom. The installation of the store-bought wardrobe was done seemlessly, and looks like the wardrobe was custom-made to fit the space. I would absolutely recommend them, and they will be the first people we contact when we're ready for our next renovation project

We own an older 1917 Edwardian home and the 2 bathrooms were in need of a complete gut and renovation. A friend had told us about the Homestars site so we scoured over the many highly reviewed contractors and chose a few to get quotes from. Bowerbird Renovations one of the contractors we considered, came in with a reasonable offer so we took a leap of faith and believed Victor when he stated at our initial meeting that we would be Wowed. We are so ecstatic that we decided to go with Bowerbird Renovations. Victor and Andrei are truly skilled craftsmen and their attention to detail is unmatched. At every step of the project, Victor and Andrei gave detailed updates and provided us with recommendations. Victor's vision was right on and greatly appreciated as this process was all brand new to us. At the end of the project which was on time and on budget, when we finally saw the completed bathrooms our jaws dropped....the bathrooms were perfect. The bathrooms have the straightest lines in this old house :) We would highly recommend Bowerbird Renovations for their high quality of workmanship, keen eye for detail and top notch professionalism. Bowerbird is owned and operated by father/son Victor and Andrei, and their quality of work reflects how personally they take their profession. We did a complete attic renovation from scratch, including installation of a new staircase, as well as extra closets. Bowerbird showed up on time for all pre-appointments, provided detailed estimates within 3-4 days as they promised. For the entire project,they communicated daily so there were no surprises, they stayed on timeline and on budget. What sets they apart however is their incredible attention to detail, and the high quality of their finishing. work They are the best contractors we've found in the city and plan to hire them again when we eventually renovate our main bathroom.

We've lived in this house for 3 years and are just now getting to renovating the house. The main bathroom is a must. It was old, dated, previous owners had caulking around everything and it leaked, and although we have a window, there was no fan to help ventilate and get rid of moisture in the air. I had a tiled shower that needed a renovation, and also wanted to install a bathroom fan. I was impressed with how professional and efficient Bowerbird Renovations was. We want to thank Bowerbird Renovations for the absolutely fantastic job they did on our bathrooms. We had only one full bathroom and powder room in our home. Victor and Andrei, were able to design and create a beautiful bathroom with soaker tub in the basement from scratch, at our request. The basement bathroom is a quite, peaceful sanctuary. They renovated the upstairs main bathroom to a charming sophisticated space. We now have two fantastic full bathrooms. All aspect of the renovation was done with a keen eye for detail. We want to thank Bowerbird Renovations for a great job they did on our basement. It turned out to be a warm and cozy place for our kids to play in. As this was our first renovation experience, we took our time and wanted to select a good contractor for us. We invited several contractors for the quotes. Victor and Andrei were very thorough during our initial meeting. The quote they've provided was very detailed. The price was reasonable. They were very patient with us as we didn't know exactly what we wanted in our basement bathroom until the end. They were vacuuming the dust every day and were very neat and clean. Overall, very nice job indeed.

We recently bought a 20 year old house and wanted to redo the kitchen. A friend recommended Bowerbird Renovations so we called them for a quote and based on our first meeting we decided to go with them for our project. The guys were very nice to deal with and we had absolutely no issues. They took the time to discus all the details of the new kitchen and various functional aspects as well as design ideas. From beginning to end they took a week to complete the project entirely. Everything was done according to the initial plan and we were stunned to see our new beautiful kitchen. I have to also note that the quality of work was excellent. They really have an eye for detail and the experience to make everything just right. My husband likes to pick on things that are not perfect but surprisingly he had nothing to say except for good things about our new kitchen. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend Bowerbird Renovations to others who are looking for great quality for a reasonable price.

We recently bought a house up in Aurora with unfinished basement. We hired Bowerbird Renovations to finish it based on our friend referral. We were pleased with the results. They created a 3D drawing of all the rooms for us to see before renovation took place. We were able to adjust several things exactly as we wanted. We also got a nice deal on tiles and heated floor through their supplier. The quality of work was very good. They even fixed the lighting in our living room free of charge!
